There’s something about the daffodils this year

I have always been enamored with the coming of spring. But this year there is a new mvp of my heart: daffodils.

Everything seems to be coming up so early and stronger than ever. I’m not sure if it’s because of the seemingly infinite varieties of daffodils or the way they are the first signs of spring but they’ve been extra magical to me these past few weeks.

My backyard daffodils quickly become inside daffodils - on window ledges or the counter, saving them from the spring storms and squirrels. They’re my new cameras current favorite subject. The longer I look, the more I see.
